Flat packed rack takes five minutes to assemble23 May 2008Mills, a supplier of cable management and specialist tooling products for the communications industry, has introduced a high quality flat packed rack that can be assembled in just five minutes.
The unique design and construction of the Boss Logic range allows fast assembly, saving time and money on-site, whilst the modern black finish and aesthetics mean that they will look good wherever they are used.
“Our product specialists are always looking for new ways to save time for installers on site and the Boss Logic Flat Packed Enclosures really impress,” said Jerry Mills, managing director of Mills. “The Logic range satisfies the increasing demand for high quality installations with superior functionality, with the unique benefit of the five-minute assembly time.”
The Logic range of quick assembly cabinets is available as 800mm wide by 900mm deep to provide a generous amount of space for wiring. The aluminium extruded, ultra-rigid frame features eight twist-to-lock fixings, which means that assembly is fast and requires no tools.
Available in four heights of 30U, 36U, 42U and 47U, standard features include a toughened smoked glass front door, metal rear door (with cable entry panels), quick release side panels, four fully adjustable 19” panel mounting uprights and self levelling feet.
The flat pack eliminates on-site handling problems (such as when negotiating stairs, escalators, lifts and narrow doors), and saves on space and handling costs. Special packaging protects the flat pack from damage.
