IPC for hazardous areas

Nematron's new ePC-Series industrial PC is rated for Class 1 Division 2 Hazardous area use. With an Ultra-thin profile and support for Celeron M and Core Duo processors, the unit can be supplied with any one of three display sizes (15in, 17in, and 19in), all of which feature five-wire analogue resistive touch-screens and IP65 front panel protection. Panel depth is less than 75mm for the 15in unit.

Options include stainless steel front panels, solid state hard drives, and 24Vdc operation. A Compact Flash socket is supplied as standard, and there is an extensive range of I/O ports, including two 10/100/1000 Ethernet, one RS-422/485, two RS-232, four USB 2.0, PS/2, and even an external Video connection that supports dual display with extended desktop.
