Precise, stable tripping characteristics, large setting ranges and very low heat dissipation are among the key benefits of motor protection circuit breakers in the new Moeller PKE range from Eaton. Incorporating electronic overload protection, these new devices cover the range 0.09kW to 34kW with just three base units and five control units, greatly reducing the number of variants that users need to stock.

Ideal for use in demanding applications where accurate and dependable motor protection is essential, the new PKE circuit breakers allow users to choose Class 5, 10, 15 or 20 trip characteristics using a convenient rotary selector. A second calibrated rotary dial is provided for setting the trip current, and the inherent stability of the electronic trip system ensures that the settings are accurately maintained throughout the life of the unit, even in adverse operating conditions.
