The Best of Panel & System Building

Welcome to our first exclusively online edition of Panel and System Building (PSB) magazine, published today (click on cover to far left of your screen). A relatively new subscriber to the digital format – this being only the seventh digital issue in the current series – PSB is not turning its back on paper print and has no plans to convert to all-digital media in the foreseeable future. Rest assured, paper editions will be forthcoming, as usual, in May, July, September and November of this year and, of course, there will be online digital versions of these editions to browse through at your convenience.
We plan two exclusively online editions this year –in April and another in October and we hope to use this flexible format for new projects and departures from our usual style of presentation. For example, this first edition is something of a review of the past fifteen months and we bring you some of the editorial highlights from the period, including interesting insights into issues of safety, technology and good engineering practice.
In October, we will revive a popular annual fixture of the old Panel Building calendar – an Awards scheme that will recognise excellence in our industry. We are at a relatively early stage in the planning but we will keep you up to date on progress via the PSB website. Our readers will be the judges in this competition and every one of you will have the opportunity to vote. Watch out for news of the PSB Awards 2010 at www.psbonthenet.net
