Multi function timers28 June 2010Available from Switchtec, the Anly AMY-N series of plug in timers has been designed to be as compact as possible (28.6 x 22.3 x 64mm) without compromising on functionality. The depth is 82mm when plugged into a standard DIN rail mounting socket type 18FF-4Z-C8. An accessory is available that allows the timers to be used in flush mounting applications, for example on the front of a door or control panel.
The AMY-N is supplied with selectable time scales and functions, all via DIP switches located beneath a flap on the side of the timer. Fine timing adjustment is selectable and controllable from a large dial mounted on the top of the timer.
The AMY-N series is available in 12 and 24Vdc, and 12, 24, 110 and 240Vac 50/60Hz versions, in either 2 or 4 pole change over types. Both have contacts rated at 5A, 250Vac/30Vdc. There are eight field selectable ranges, that can be programmed to operate over a timing range from just one second to a maximum of 600 hours. Two output modes are available: on-delay and cyclic (on-off).
