HMI smaller than a CD case

Lenze has extended its range of Windows CE based HMIs with a miniature model that has a front panel size significantly smaller than a CD case. The new EL103 has dimensions of only 130 x 104 x 34mm yet it is a full colour touch screen TFT display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. Options include a Soft-PLC.

The performance and specification of the EL103 is not limited by the small size. The bright 3.5in colour display is LED back-lit; interfaces are Ethernet, USB and CAN, and there is a SD card slot for memory expansion and easy archiving of data. The energy efficient XScale processor requires neither fans nor batteries and only uses 5W of power. The front face of the EL103 has an enclosure rating of IP65.
