Mersen completes acquisition of Eldre

Mersen has completed the acquisition of Eldre, furthering its strategy to support partners in the power electronic applications market with components that improve system reliability and safety. Mersen’s expanded product offering combines product expertise in laminated bus bar, cooling, and semiconductor fuses with wide application knowledge. Marc Vinet, Group VP, Electrical Protection and a member of the Management Board of Mersen says the Eldre team is a welcome addition to Mersen.

Eldre is based in Rochester, NY (United States) with manufacturing facilities in the US and France (Saint Sylvain d'Anjou), employing approximately 300 people. The business will be integrated into Mersen’s Electrical Components and Technologies segment.
